INSTACOAT Film Coating Systems are dry blend concentrates of polymers,
plasticizers, pigments, opacifiers, glidents, binders, antitacking agents,
antifoaming agents, surfactants, fillers and extenders. Polymers constitute
a major component of the film coating system and our systems are based on
Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC), Poly Vinyl Alcohol (PVA), Sodium
Alginate (SA), Cellulose Acetate Phthalate (CAP), Hydroxy Propyl Methyl
Cellulose Phthalate(HPMC-P), Methacrylic Acid Co-polymer Type 'C'. Likewise,
Pigments constitute a very critical component for visual distinction and our
systems are based on Lake Colors, Natural Colors, Aluminium Lakes, FD&C
Aluminium Lakes and Pharmaceutical grade Titanium Dioxide (TiO2).
INSTACOAT Film Coating Systems are ready to use and are available in
aqueous or organic systems. They can be reconstituted with organic solvent
system, aqueous system or hydro-alcoholic system to prepare pharmaceutical
solid oral dosage forms.
INSTACOAT MASK system can be used for taste masking of bitter active
ingredients used in dry syrups and suspensions.
INSTABIND IC-820, a pharmaceutical excipient, acts as a carrier, bulking
agent and disintegrant for direct compression tablets, wet-granulation,
dry-granulation, dry blends and 2- piece capsules.
